A captivating stage adaptation of the hit podcast, bringing world folklore to life through a magical blend of theater and music.

The Magic Story Carpet is a children’s podcast series brought to life on stage, featuring professional actors and original music. Each episode focuses on a different legend from around the world, introducing children to the unique sounds, customs, and magical stories of various cultures.

The show is an imaginative journey across the globe, where stories are performed live with musical accompaniment and active audience participation.

 

Yaara Reshef Nehor is an award-winning director and playwright. Her honors include the 2020 Children’s Play of the Year award for Einstein: The Boy Who Never Stopped Asking, and both Best Director and Best Play for Youth for The First Kiss at the 2016 Haifa International Children’s Theater Festival. Yaara holds a B.Ed. with High Honors in Directing and Theater Education from the Kibbutzim College of Education and is a 2007 Honors Graduate of the Beit Zvi School for the Performing Arts.

Throughout her career, she has written and directed over 20 productions for children and young adults. Her work has been featured in Israel’s leading theaters, including the Orna Porat Theater, Mediatheque, The National Youth Theater, Haifa Theater, Nalaga’at, and Tzavta, among others.
