In science, a free radical is an unstable molecule. Searching, attacking, altering structures. Ronit Ziv and Ran Ben Dror on stage around an imaginary atom. Two experienced bodies, two sharp presences, two movement languages. The encounter between them is built in real time, in front of the audience. Free Radicals investigates what hides beneath the surface: everyday gestures that conceal internal dissonance, the moment control dissolves, the place where one body begins to affect the other. The movement shifts between a subtle tremor and large, unpredictable motion. The transitions are sharp and fast.
Hierarchies between choreographer and performer, between man and woman, are examined in the act.
Nothing is fixed in advance.
