Mnemosyne by Tamir Ginz – Kamea Dance Company
The work “Mnemosyne” by Tamir Ginz was created in 2018 and enjoyed great success in Israel and in international tours. It now returns to the stage. Named after the Greek goddess of memory, Mnemosyne explores the relationship between collective and personal identity. Drawing inspiration from community traditions, rituals, and celebrations, Ginz examines the shared memory carried within the body. These collective memories exist in an eternal tension with the individual self, shaped by fragments of personal memories and experiences.
