A dance-theatre performance for children and the whole family, ages 3-10 and their parents. A dancing adaptation to the biblical story of Jonah and the whale. Jonah is given a mission: to go to the people of Nineveh and ask them to change their ways to make a fresh new start. But Jonah refuses the call. She flees to the port of Jaffa and boards a ship, determined to travel as far away as possible.
A mighty storm tosses the ship about, and Jonah is forced to leap into the sea. A giant whale swallows Jonah, saving her life. But now, how on earth will she get out of the whale’s belly?

Kelly Ayache is a choreographer, member of the Choreographers Association, dancer, actress and voice-over artist. Born in Paris, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre from Tel Aviv University and completed the Peridance professional program for dancers in New York. She trained in various frameworks through which she developed her distinctive blend of acting and dance, including studies at Jacques Lecoq in Paris, workshops at SEAD in Salzburg, performance training, and more. In her work, Kelly is in a constant search for the meeting point between dance and theatre, drama and comedy, realism and surrealism, depth and lightness. These tensions are recurring and central elements in her creations.
