Shuva is a piece that invites the audience on an intimate, exposed journey into the depths of memory. Moving to the music of J.S. Bach, the performer confronts a resonant question: who were we once, and who are we today? The solo deconstructs the concept of “return”—not merely as a physical homecoming to a familiar place, but as a persistent attempt to re-encounter the version of ourselves we thought we knew. Navigating between past memories that surface as vivid visual images and the present moment, the body raises poignant questions about identity and change: Have we remained the same person? What from our past has been lost, and what remains steadfast and true within us?

Heaven Can Wait
In the changing of seasons, we surrender.
Nothingness is existence, and existence is nothingness.
Alongside every bloom, there is always withering.
Becoming one.
Diving, flying, crossing cities and continents,
Searching for new meanings through indirect roads, interchanges, and tunnels.
Disruption is threatening, and chaos is comforting.
