Hani Sirkis | Take Off
Take Off traces a character’s journey, shedding her layers step by step. What begins as a
monstrous, heavily costumed figure constantly dissolves into countless versions of herself.
״…this brilliant work mesmerizes without anesthetizing; it awakens experience without
foreclosing thought.״
Anat Zecharia, Walla, Jan 15, 2026
“Hani Sirkis is a cultural phenomenon. Since the premiere of Take Off last summer, she has
repeatedly filled the Suzanne Dellal halls with audiences of all ages.”
“….The eclectic collage of characters she dons as she undresses is a celebration of self-
invention, one that can inspire viewers to reconsider and celebrate their own identities.”
Ran Brown, Haaretz, January 2, 2026
