Empty corridor ahead.
Everything is white.
You start walking.
Still in corridor.
You keep going.
Different smell now.
Continue to walk.
Light starts dimming.
Green grass appears.
You begin running.
Look back quickly.
See a corridor.
Reached the mud.
Rusty mud here.
You are sprinting.
Ceiling on floor.
Black grass grows.
You are riding.
You are horse.

PATROL is a dance work by Eyal Dadon.
At the heart of the work stands the image of a horse on watch — noble, steady, and alert.
The body scans the horizon.
Focused on the search.
Hoping to find nothing.

Eyal Dadon (Be’er Sheva, 1989), is a choreographer and sound designer, a graduate of BPM College of Music in Sound Production.

He received  the Ministry of Culture and Sport Award for Creators (2024), the Jeong Mak Award (2021), the Creation Award at the MASH Choreography Competition (2015), and First Prize at the International Choreography Competition at Hannover (2014). He also won  the Yair Shapira Award (2014) for his contributions to the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company (KCDC).

Since 2011, Dadon has been creating innovative works for prominent companies, including Aterballetto, Czech National Ballet, Hessisches Staatsballett, Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, Gauthier Dance Company, Thalia Theater, Xie Xin Dance Theatre, Beijing Dance Theater, Stanislavsky Ballet, Chang Dance Theater, Ballet Hagen, and in Israel, KCDC, Fresco Dance Company, Inbal Dance Theater, and Jerusalem Dance Theater.

He danced with Kamea Dance Company (2008–2010) and KCDC (2010–2015), where he also served as an Assistant Rehearsal Director (2015–2020). In 2016, he co-founded the Eyal Dadon Dance Company with Tamar Barlev, which is now a recognized international ensemble. His passion for sound and the study of sound waves has led him to design soundtracks for his works and to collaborate with Gil Nemet and Rami Be’er.

In most of his creations, Dadon collaborated closely with his artistic and life partner, Tamar Barlev. Together, they are also parents to their son, Adam Dadon Barlev.
