Tzipi Nir and Tai Morris | Tat;Ray

Tat;Ray is a four-part video-dance piece that offers a rare glimpse into the intimate world of women in closed communities, exposing mechanisms of control, exploitation, and victimhood. It questions whether female solidarity can ease or prevent suffering, where the line lies between care and violence, and what it truly means to “belong”.

Through repetitive, ritualistic movement – Tat;Ray exposes a choreography of survival. The film asks: Can the body revolt? Can anything break through the closed loop — when even care becomes a form of captivity? And does the silencing and the cover-up preserve the wound, perhaps even recreating it?
