Tomer Giat

Tomer Giat, 31 years old, graduated the dance major at Aharon Katzir High School, Rehovot, and the “Maslool Professional Dance Program”,Bikurey Haitim Center, artistic direction by Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan. For over a decade, he has worked as an independent dancer, producer and rehearsal manager with a wide variety of creators in the Israeli dance field, among them: Rachel Erdos, Roy Assaf, Niv Sheinfeld and Oren Laor, Ravid Abarbanel, Gilad Yerushalmi, Or Marin, Idan Sharabi, Israel Aloni and more. In addition, he works as a dance teacher and holistic massage therapist. Created a solo work for the ‘Intimdance’ festival and presented at the ‘ImPulsTanz’ festival in Vienna (Austria).

He is the recipient of a scholarship from ImPulsTanz, the America-Israel Cultural Foundation, a grant recipient of the Lottery Council for Culture and Art and the Independent Creators Fund of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
