Nur Garabli was born and raised in Ajami, Jaffa. She started dancing at the Arab-Jewish Community Center when she was a child. She was exposed to the Palestinian traditional folk dance dabke in high school and then joined Jobi, the local dabke compan, where she danced and toured for five years. She is now finishing her degree in dance from Seminar HaKibbutzim College. Garabli currently teaches bilingual dabke classes with Yasmeen Godder as part of workshops for Jewish and Arab women initiated by Godder. She also teaches dabke and contemporary dance with Miso Samara at Al-Saraya Theatre, the Arab Theater in Old Jaffa. Her last work was chosen to take part in the Acco Festival in September 2021.
