Mindset
A dance duet exploring walking, direction, and intention. By examining the body’s relationship with space and sharpening our awareness of how deeply we are dependent on our surroundings, the simple, everyday act of walking transforms into something poetic and intriguing. This dance develops a new movement language based on diagonals, revealing the effects of directional disruptions and asymmetry. The lack of symmetry uncovers hidden and forgotten aspects of life’s diagonals. At the start of the event, the audience is invited to participate in an engaging, experiential exploration of walking, offering an opportunity for active viewing and deeper immersion in the performance. A choreographer, dancer, performer, Feldenkrais teacher, and socially engaged promoter. Tali creates site-specific performances, events, and choreographies in different mediums. Her works address identity, gender, human communication, and behavior patterns and are presented around Israel and in Europe at dance and theater festivals, galleries, museums, and public and private spaces. August 23 she created a site specific performance for Gothenburg Opera Dance Company, ‘The bus will arrive in 10 minute’. She constantly searches for the connection between environment, people, and art and believes art should be accessible to a broad audience and integrated into our daily lives.
