The piece explores one's longing for love and physical contact without relinquishing control.

Narcissistic, compulsive and self-centric, the characters on stage are doomed to fail in their quest for love. In homage to Flamenco's pathos, passion and physical tension, a melodrama is created on stage, flirting with the absurd

Shira Elkouby is an independent choreographer, a student at Bezalel's Academy of Art and Design Visual Communication Department, Jerusalem, and a dance teacher at "Reut for the Arts" since 2015. While in high-school (2006-2012), Shira studied in the dance program "Reut for the Arts Six Years Founded by Wizo World", and continued her training in the “Maslool” training program under the artistic direction of Naomi Perlov and Offir Dagan (2012-2014).

Shira is creating pieces since 2016:

In 2016 "Lord of the sun" was created as part of a residency at "Lake Studios", Berlin.

In 2017 “Harmoniler" was created for the "Shades in Dance" festival at the Suzanne Dellal Center (also performed at the "International Exposure" event), and "Further Reflections", created for and performed by students of the “Maslool” at the "DDD" festival.

In 2019 "Condolences" was created for and performed by students of the “Maslool, and "My Condolences", created with support from “Mifaal Hapais”. It premiered at the Suzanne Dellal Center and later performed at the Fresco House
