Two premieres by two emerging creators, engaging in a complex dialogue with reality— both the one delivered by our senses and the one that exists in
our imagination

The Context By Ariel Freedman
We are being asked. We have been asked. We have been offered. We have been given a stage.
The trouble is, the only way we can stand on it is if we use it to change all of this.
Otherwise, forget about it.
With our heads hanging low, low, low, low– perhaps we really ought to step back, step down, step away.
Bow out. Go. Just go. We’ve done quite enough. STOP. Please…Just don’t move.
Boy, we’re gonna carry that weight a long time.

I dance
I am present
I dance
I respond
I’m on it
I dreamed
Sorry
I’m usually better
When I’m present
I dance
I do what
I remember
I do the thingI love
I’m in a tube
It’s another day at work
I respond
To the thing I love
I love
When I dance
I love When
I respond
I’m present
When I dance
I dance
When I’m at work
Sometimes
At work
I just respond
Or I just dance
