Odelya Kuperberg (1978) Choreographer, artistic director, dance instructor and dancer. Graduate of The School of Visual Arts, David Yellin College (B.Ed), Thelma Yellin High School Of Arts. Winner of the Ministry of Culture Prize for Young Choreographers (2006) Since 2000 works as an independent choreographer. Presented in many prestigious venues in Israel and internationally. Initiated various co-productions and multi-disciplinary co-operations with artists and cultural institutes worldwide. Initiator and founder of the Israeli National Dancers Union (2005). Artistic Director since 2015 of “Shades in Dance”, the oldest frame festival for new and upcoming choreographers at Suzanne Dellal Center for Dance and Theater. Choreographer and movement director for numerous theatre productions in theaters. Teaches choreography, composition, center technique, movement and classical ballet to professional dancers, academic students, high school students and non-professionals. Teaches movement for actors at the M.A. program for outstanding actors, Tel Aviv University. Odelya Is a member of the Israeli Choreographers Association since 2006.
