Nature • Fresh
An evening of two works
Lotem Regev presents a contemporary movement gallery on the themes of humanity and the natural world.
Regev’s duet Nature returns in a new and ultra intimate version. A close-up to Human Nature. Emotional experiences translated into movement. Elusive moments of harmony, in a meeting point between two men.
Fresh, created in collaboration with five emerging movement artists, explores the power of the individual alongside our eternal need for community and a sense of belonging. We live in a world where young people have a huge impact on re-defining norms and social codes. This piece is a wild and honest piece of life that forms a new imaginary landscape of human communication and provides a voice for the new generation of movement artists in Israel.
Lotem Regev is a movement artist, creator and performer. He has danced with GöteborgsOperans Danskompani (Sweden), Batsheva Ensemble, Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company and Inbal Dance Theater. Since 2013 Lotem has created his own work, focusing on developing the field of contemporary movement and finding the connection/relevance to everyday life and the world around us. His work has been presented in theaters, opera houses, museums, galleries and festivals in Israel, Europe, and North America. He is the founder of the Fresh Friday Movement Celebration events, providing young movement artists the opportunity to explore their individual range in a judgment-free environment.
