“In an endless ocean of emptiness, the soul of the world was swimming. Her name was Aura.

She carried within her all the seeds of a universe yet to be born.”

SOF SOF is a piece about endings — and the beginnings that are born from them.

About those suspended moments between what was and what has yet to take form.

Through the character of Aura, the soul of the world, Kolben Dance explores transition: not as a final point, but as transformation. Not as loss, but as an invitation to change.

The performance invites us to pause — not to rush into definitions, but to listen. Can we recognize those primal moments when a new reality begins to take shape — even if it’s still quiet, still invisible?

When the end has already arrived, but the beginning hasn’t yet appeared — Are we experiencing loss, or possibility?

SOF SOF moves along the line between the unseen and the inevitable, asking us to slow down, to feel, and to allow something new to emerge — precisely from within the silence.
