An original contemporary flamenco performance that combines dance, performance, song and live music.

Our country has changed, along with communities and families that have been torn apart and destroyed. As an image for this, we chose to take the Star of David from the flag and deconstruct it to its most basic shape – the triangle.

Through a unique movement language, original compositions, and traditional Hebrew poetry – we explore the formal tension of the triangle and ask questions on its stability.

Inspired by the known musical instrument, we created iron triangles of various thicknesses, sizes, and densities in an iron workshop.

As a metaphor for the Israeli people, our common ground and aspirations to rise up, the structure of the performance is built honestly, powerfully and with humor; we enter and exit the triangle literally and metaphorically, breaking it apart and reassembling it, and through it – we rebuild ourselves. Stronger.

The performance premiered as part of FEX Festival 2024, and its renewed premiere was created with the support of Mifal Hapayis – Council for Culture and Arts.
