The Adi Agmon Foundation places great importance on encouraging flamenco education by giving beginner flamenco students and dancers at various stages of their professional development the opportunity to perform on a professional stage.
Every year, the Israeli Flamenco Morning presents the ongoing work that takes place within the many flamenco studios active in Israel, which include amateur groups of varied ages and levels alongside semi-professional performing groups.
This year, the show consists of dances performed by 10 groups that display a wide range of influences and styles – traditional and modern flamenco, recorded and live or original music. Also, and in accordance with the expansion of the Israeli Flamenco Morning in the past two years, the show will include a group song segment, that presents the element on which the art of flamenco lies as a whole, and a segment performed by a group of guitarists, displaying the dialogue between the music and the dance.
