Morning classes for professional dancers at the Suzanne Dellal Centre

Suzanne Dellal Centre, together with the community of independent dancers in Israel, is launching a series of subsidized morning classes, which will be held four times a week at the Suzanne Dellal Centre.

The classes are intended for professional dancers who work and are active in the field, and graduates of professional dance training programs.

Background

Following the pandemic and the need to give space and support to the dancers in Israel, an initiative was established by the community of independent dancers in Israel, which received funding from the Lottery Council for Culture and the Arts and the Suzanne Dellal Centre. The initiative places emphasis on providing real conditions for dancers in the country, and promoting the values ​​of reciprocity and joint growth. The initiative arose out of the need to gather, and create platforms that enable development, physical and mental spaces for action and building a supportive and fulfilling community.

In collaboration with the Susan Dellal Centre and with the support of the Lottery Council for Culture and the Arts, subsidized morning classes has been established to provide a daily training and to create a place where dancers can continue their professional development while maintaining their shape.

Conditions

Active independent dancers in the field (at least two professional projects on professional stages).
Graduates of dance companies and young companies.
Graduates of professional dance training programs.

Classes are made possible thanks to the support of the Lottery Board for Culture and the Arts.
