Shani Bar Dimri

Shani Bar Dimri is a choreographer, performer and lover of words. Her artistic research mines her experience as a human, woman, performer, mother and creature living in contemporary society. She looks at both the physical body and the mind as materials for observation and design. Shani completed the two-year choreography program at Kelim Choreography Center in Bat-Yam. She holds a B.Dance from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, a M.Ed in Art Education from The HAMIDRASHA art faculty, Beit-Berl College, and is a graduate of the Alon High School of Arts. Her works have been shown in Israel at Machol Shalem, Meeting Festival, and Diablog. As a performer, she has collaborated with artists from different disciplines among them Abigail Rubin, Esther Naor, and Daniel Landau.
